PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL

Our response will be “Come Holy Spirit; guide us through life”

(1) That we may receive the strength to survive through the hard times, and remember you, Lord, in good times as well…

(2) That we may receive your light, helping us to see others as they are and to understand them as we would like to be understood…

(3) For our parents, sponsors, and teachers, that they may know our gratitiude and be blessed in knowing they have made a difference in our lives…

(4) For John Paul our Pope, Henry our Bishop, Father Stan our pastor, and all the leaders in the Chruch, that they may continue their work with the aid of the holy spirit…

(5) For the entire Parish Community of Saints Peter & Paul, that it may be a refuge from the world, and a home to all that enter…

(6) For the sick and suffering, physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually, especially those who were unable to be with us today, that they may find comfort and healing in God’s loving Spirit…

(7) For all here today who have been sealed with the Holy Spirit, and that we will live fuller, more Christian lives, through the gifts of the Spirit we receive…

(8) For all our needs and intentions, especially those we hold silent in our hearts …
